Like Canva Pro, Canva Business gives you access to Brand Kits, Brand Templates and Brand controls. You get all the benefits of Canva's Brand System with advanced features that are designed for small to medium teams:

How Canva Business differs is the following. In addition to the Brand features in Canva's Brand System, you also get: 

• More Brand Kits – With Canva Business you can create up to 100 Brand Kits (whereas you can only create 5 with Canva Pro).
• Linking Folders to Brand Kits – On the Canva Business Plan you can better organise your folders and assets as a team – this includes linking of folders to Brand Kits. For example, you can link your folder system containing brand photography rather than adding individual photos to the brand kit. Now your entire team can access all approved images in a snap. Note: This is only available in Canva Teams and Canva Enterprise, not Canva Pro.
• Design Approvals – in addition to the Brand features in Canva that we know and love (like Brand Kit, Brand Templates, Brand Controls and Template locking) you can also set up Design Approvals. This requires team members to seek approval for designs at a team-wide level or at a brand template level. For instance, you might choose to have all print-ready designs to be approved first before they can be downloaded.

2. Premium AI Tools (Flourish & Leonardo)

Just like you get on Canva Pro, you'll also access all the AI Magic Design tools on the Canva Business Plan (from Background Remover to Magic Edit to Beat Sync and Enhance Voice in video). But with Canva Business, you also unlock additional AI access to Premium AI tools like Flourish and Leonardo.

Premium Access to Flourish

Normally you require a Flourish subscription to access these features – but they are included on the Canva Business Plan. Flourish also comes with ready-made templates to save you hours of design time and helping you to turn your data into polished, animated presentations in minutes.

Premium Access to Leonardo.AI

Canva Business subscribers get access to the premium level of Leonardo.AI in Canva, which is an advanced Image and Video Generation AI software.

PS: Canva Business is worth it when you look at access to Flourish and Leonardo alone. You can also get access to advanced AI features in Affinity, Canva's professional vector design software (which is free for all users).

3. Workplace & Collaboration Tools

As we mentioned, Canva Business is designed FOR small to medium teams. As such, the Canva Business Plan brings you advanced team collaboration tools to support this.

While you get access to the same amazing collaboration tools like real-time collaboration, comments, ability to assign tasks and link sharing that you get in Canva Pro, the Canva Business Plan gives you more. With Canva Business you get access to:

The Canva Business plan is tailored for teams, which means you'll get additional team management and permission features such as:

• Transfer Ownership of content – team admins can transfer ownership from team members who leave your team – no more losing access to content!

What about Canva Teams? Where did it go?

A question we often get asked since the launch of Canva Business is “What happened to Canva Teams?”

Canva Teams is no longer available for new sign-ups or upgrades. However, if you are already on Canva Teams, then nothing will change for existing subscribers. You can keep everything you love about Canva teams with your current pricing (even if you add new members to your team). A few things to note if you are on a legacy Canva Teams account:

• Your team can still access all the current features you always had on Canva Teams (unless you downgrade your team).
• New team members can be added on to your existing Canva Teams account at the same pricing with the same features set (up to a maximum of 100 seats).
• If you need more than 100 seats or if you have multiple teams within your Organisation, or if you need more Org-level features, then talk to our agency about upgrading to Canva Enteprise.
• You will continue to get any new Premium features, the same ones added to Canva Pro. But any new features added to the Canva Business plan won't be added to your Canva Teams subscription.
• In short, if you are using Canva Teams and you don't need too change, stay put for now as you have a great deal!
